Sonoma Raceway has approx. 150 employees and with the help of Plus3 we introduced a multi-faceted healthy living rewards program to its varied workforce. In addition to earning charitable dollars for the Raceway Children’s Charity with every logged healthy action, each quarter employees can also earn:
$150 cash for logging a minimum of 39 physical activities (an average of 30mins. each)
For those exceeding this milestone, a chance to win a $500 donation to that person's charity of their choice and a paid day off
Annually, every employee who reaches the milestone in all four quarter is entered into a raffle with a chance at winning a $1000 donation to a charity of their choice.
I love this incentive program design because it not only provides employees a level of philanthropic choice through a challenge and what better way to reward somebody these days then to give them a paid day off!
Further, while the challenge is focused on physical activities our Healthy Habits feature is driving a lot of valuable daily mindfulness around what matters to each of their employees. Well over 30% of all activities logged are non-sweat related.
